  • What can I use the Createmailboxes.com Organizational Messaging System for?
    Createmailboxes.com allows you to create and manage an organizational messaging system that can be integrated into your existing website or used alone. It allows you to have internal messaging for your group, organization or business allowing group members the ability to write and respond to messages from other members. Since only members of your organization are permitted to be part of the messaging system, you can remove members if they leave your organization. (There is also an optional component which lets members create email messages to communicate with individuals not a part of your organization)
  • Who should use the Createmailboxes.com Messaging System?
    There are many instances where an organizational messaging system is useful and where simple e-mail is not adequate. Specifically, if timeliness and co-ordination of efforts is important in the organization, our system will be useful because time/date stamping of messages are integrated into the system so all message sent to other organizational members have time/date stamping of when the message has been read by the recipient. This permits, for instance, a business which assigns employment duties remotely the ability to ensure that a member has received the message unlike simple e-mail where notification of receipt can be at the option of the recipient. There are many other instance where our system would be useful.

    If you operate a business such as a law firm, for instance, you can permit your partners, associates and secretaries to have a messaging account and parters, for instance, can assign job duties to associates and secretarial staff while being assured that the he/she can see when the recipient has read the job duty assignment. Similarly the associates and secretaries can do the same. Also, secretarial staff can use templates to send often-requested emails. As another example, if you run a club, you can permit club executives to have a messaging account and correspond club business in one centralized location. Createmailboxes.com's organizational messaging system allows you to do this and more.
  • How does it work?
    Basically there are five steps:
    A. You register. You register for our service.
    B. Tell your members to Sign-up. You can tell your users to signup at your Sign-up Page URL (which we automatically create for you)...better yet if you have a web-site you can have a link from it to the Sign-up Page URL.
    C. You Accept or Reject new Sign-ups When your visitors complete the on-line Sign-up Form, the information they input is stored for you. You review the entered information for each user and accept or reject their request to create a messaging account. (Actually you could also tell us beforehand who you will accept and for those users they will automatically be Accepted).
    E. Users Login. Accepted users are automatically e-mailed the Login Page URL (again we automatically create this page for you) where they can login.. If you have a web-site you can have a link from it to the Login Page URL to make it easier for your users. From then on they only need to access the Login Page URL to access the messaging pages.
    F. Users Use the Messaging System Once logged in, Users can write and respond to messages to/from other organizational members or optionally then can write to non-organizational members through e-mail.
  • Do I have to install software?
    No, just compete the information in our simple interface and you're set.
  • Can I use the service if I don't have my own web-site?
    Yes. Since you will be provided with your own customized Sign-up Page URL and Login Page URL where your users login to the messaging system, just tell your members to go to those URL's.
  • What's the difference between your Oganizational messaging system and email?
    Basically our system does everything e-mail can do but more specifically geared to communication within an organization. As well, you can add e-mail functionality too so that you can write to/from members outside your organization too. Specifically the system has,
    • built-in date/time stamping when a message has been read by the recipient
    • template support to permit you to have standardized messages with customized fields to facilitate standard often requested emails
    • outside e-mailings can be integrated into the system so that it functions like a web-based e-mail system where you can write to/from any user with an e-mail account
    • enhanced security since e-mail is not used but messages are stored directly on our system
    • Note: Our system cannot be used as a marketing system for the sending of unsolicited e-mails (SPAM).
  • How much does it cost?
    It's free (see our mission statement to understand why). In the future, we will be offering premium services for which there may a be a charge.
